I love to blog (when I have the time), write, and read widely. My interests are self help, personal development, personal growth, how to articles as a freelance writer.

  1. I didn't know this. Mac books are primarily tailored to professionals in the IT industry. Very interesting. I do some web designing and coding, maybe I should get one after all.
  2. I agree with Jay Mum and CyberGenius. I like to have my code and organized. If people are finding it difficult to read because there are no line or paragraph breaks, they would get frustrated and probably want to move on and go to another site. I don't want to frustrate my visitors while they're on my site, and it's important that my website looks as clean and professional as possible.
  3. I would love to know how to do this. I know how to do a few things in Photoshop but I still need to learn a whole lot more. I need time to learn and practice these skills though, and this can be a problem.
  4. SarahG you can do online freelance writing as a part time job while still working at your 9-5, or you can committ to it for 8-10 hours a day. It's just a matter of preference.
  5. The best methods that I like to use to monetize my blog or website is the Amazon Associates program and Chitika Advertising. I use Google Adsense, but I'm not too happy with it so I'm going to try some other alternatives to it such as BuySellAds.com, but I have to increase my traffic first.

Why would anybody pay that amount of money when you can get it for free? I think it would be best to find some other beneficial way to spend your hard earned money.
  7. Wow! The Pinterest clone sounds like a good idea, but if I have to go through all of these problems with setting it up, and with poor customer service, I don't think it would be worth of all that hassle. It sounds as if that company's customer support is very unprofessional.
  8. I use a autoposting sites to help me to autopost my blog posts or other online writings through my various social media sites, which are Facebook, Twitter, Google+, delicious, Linked In and Tumblr. I have to place posts on Pinterest manually though . The autoposting sites which help me to do this are twitterfeed and dlvr.it. I sometimes use IFTTT (which is short for "If this than that").
  9. I'm glad to hear that you can make some money from your website or blog. Personally, I've found out that creating a website or blog is one thing, but creating a website which dominates its niche market is quite another. It takes a lot of dedication, hard work, persistence (and not to mention a lot of trial and error) to get the results that you're looking for when creating and maintaining a leading blog or website.
  10. I can't think of the ten, but the best ones I can come up with right now are oDesk, freelancer.com, Elance.com, Guru.com, textbrokers.com CastingWords.com and Writer Domain.
  11. I'm not having any problems with Bing in Jamaica. It's working quite fine in fact, but I still prefer to use Google. I always find what need whenever I'm searching for stuff on the net. It seems as if Bing doesn't give same type of high quality searches as Google, but that's still just my opinion.
  12. Yes, I agree with this quote. There are some products which are free but they're still great. But I still love your diagram nontheless; it's very creative.
  13. I was SNES kid. I loved Mario. Anything with Mario in it, I loved. I'm not a big of Sega Genesis. I wasn't too fond of that I'm afraid.
  14. Not only is he a cool boss, but he's a smart one too. He's aware that is success is as a result of his team of workers bringing his goals to fruition. He's aware that if he does this, this will only motivate his workers to continue to work hard, and make the company even more successful. He's using his emotional intelligence, but allowing his workers to feel that his success is also theirs, and they helped to contribute to it.
  15. Things haven't got that advanced here where I live but slowly and surely I notice all the online stores are using apps, like Vine.com (not Vine.co), where you can scan barcodes of specific items and compare the prices of that item from one location with their price. So, it's not a surprise that everything is going that direction right now. There's practically an app for everything nowadays.
