candy, thrill and shauno i crave your assistance
Shaunno replied to jerry springer's topic in Windows Development
Locking as this is getting well of topic. If you have any other problems create a new topic. -
Yes they are that is how they work its only a very tiny amount and the ability of a beam of Alpha particles to be blocked by smoke makes it very useful.

Yea ford is correct, but of you want a problem solved quickly it is best to let everyone give you advice -
Yes I did not say Gamma couldnt pass through you, it can oass through everything (in time) unless it takes that long to go through that it has broken down into a stable isotope (Half-life). Also I beleive TV remotes use IR, well least they do in the UK
-
Yes Gamma is bad for you (obviuosly) but it does depend on the intensity, low level gamma wont kill you but will probably cause cancers, or other medical complications. Alpha is the one you wouldnt want to be exposed to (beacuse it is ionizing), but beacuse it is rather large (made up of protons) it cant pass through our skin, so as long as you dont eat anything that emits Alpha particles you will be ok. Also you have UV, which causes cancer and micorwaves which would literally cook you.

He doesnt have an installation disk. Like chill said hold F8 then a list of options will appear run start-up repair from there, or try a systerm restore if you have made one previously -

When you said you can only see your background, do you egtting an error like 'Windows explorer has stopped responding'? Also CHill was right mate you will need to find drivers for your hardware from manufacturers websites, i.e. if it is a Gigabyte motherboard then you will need to visit the gigabyte website etc. To find out what your devices are go to the device manager which cna be located in control pannel-system-hardware tab. The devices that dont have drivers will have a yellow symbol next to them, right click them and go to properties then details and a vendor ID should be listed along with a Device ID. Plug the numbers into this website http://www.pcidatabase.com/ -

Well they use micorwaves, which as we all know cooks any object with an abudance of water in it, but like everyone has said they are very low powered and I personaly believe you would have to spend a ridiculous amount of time on a mobile before seeing any ill effects.

Crysis 2 dont crash for me mate so I dont know what is different for you.

Could try re-installing the browser.
-
Could try running it in administrator, plus you could check your temps after so much game time see if they are getting to high.

Like previous posts say overclocking just increases how many operations can be doine in one secound, personally I have overlclocked my CPU from 2.8GHz to 3.8GHz, my RAm from 1600MHz to 1770MHz and my GPU (Core and memory clocks) let me just say that overlocking the GPU has a fair amount of benefit, but I have a custom cooler for my graphics card if you dont there aint no point OC'ing your graphics card because they get way to hot and become very unstable. The same can be said for the CPU without decent air flow in the case and a decent cooler you wont go very far, you will be able to increase the frequency to a point before you have to increase voltages to get a stable OC, increasinbg voltages is what massively increases temps. May I ask what CPU you are attempting to OC and whether you built the system or if it is pre-built, because most pree-built systems have their BIOS's locked soyou ant do anything. Best thing to do is to research overlclocking and have confidence in what your doing and changing settings on the BIOS. I dont know how chill managed to blow up any of his systems he must have been pushing them way beyond specs. (Like serious over voltaging)

Cant really disagree with chill, hit the nail on the head tbh OCZ and Corsair would be my favourites with SSD drives. Some drives to consider: OCZ Vertex 2E OCZ Agility 2 Intel X25 Corsair Force

When I connected my sisters DS to my router I used WPA2 security, but also I made sure that the MAC address of the device was in the exceptions list for connecting. Then when you connect just put your WPA2 password on the DS and it should connect.
