New to the forum world, but I am here sincerely for the love of interaction. I do not mind asking questions, and I love trying to help others.

  1. I really appreciate this! I knew that knowing some coding would be essential--if I am thinking correctly, very essential if I want to customize a lot in my forums. Thanks for the welcome. This really has been a very helpful community =^.^=
  2. I most certainly will. I have a lot going on right now so this may take some serious time on my end. Hopefully not too much though once I get started. I hate starting/learning new things and getting distracted in the process so I am trying to wait until my plate has a little more room before I start learning. I do sincerely appreciate the help though. It is nice to have helping hands when you are genuinely interested in doing something. I did want to ask, what internet speed would be recommended for running a forum?
  3. @KenBrace Both. I don't see the point in running a forum, if I have no idea how it even works. @Lizel Thanks! I didn't even think to Wiki now to create a forum. Hopefully it'll help to the point I can stop asking silly questions ^.^
  4. I have no experience with web development of any kind, but I am more than willing/wanting to learn. Sad thing is, I do not know where to start and looking through the forums... lost isn't the word to describe anymore. As I mentioned in my introduction, I am hoping for a forum of my own someday. Where should I start looking to start this journey? Programming, Database, Hosting and Domains? I feel silly, but I have to start somewhere right?
  5. Just wanted to drop in and say hi! I am new to the forum, and frankly, I haven't the slightest idea of where to start here. I am interested in expanding my knowledge so that I can eventually have my own forum/webpage, but I want to be prepared and fluent with what I am doing before hand. I have all sorts of interest (not just 1 or 2), I am highly opinionated, an easy learner, and not afraid to ask questions. However, if I do ask what seems to be a "stupid question," please just excuse me and remember I feel lost, with where to start, at the moment =^.^=
