Firstly you should understand that many digital marketers look to provide value to their audience by using different online marketing strategies. Traditional advertisers are typically just looking to increase sales with their ad spots, not to provide value.

matthewjohn938 got a reaction from Nathan in Which is better, PHP or Python? Why?
Both are well known languages for web development! I think the answer would depend on what kind of web development you want. If you are developing from raw frameworks (without using a CMS) then it really doesn't matter. Django and Flask are great frameworks for Python and PHP has Symfony, CodeIgniter and Zend.

If your answer to this question is YES, then go for it. Make sure you have enough time to manage the forum everyday.

Well it's a must for sure, but most frameworks/libraries do this out of the box now.  I wouldn't build anything that is not responsive or includes some type of mobile/tablet views.

It takes time and you have got to be consistent.  I spent time on the directory submissions, but not much has come from those.
The blog posting, commenting and such will yield results as long as the content is good and not fluff, but you have to do this and stick to it for days, weeks, months and you will eventually see results, don't give up.

What I know about building backlinks is to post the link of your site on popular sites only like a huge blog with a thousand active members or a blog with thousands of regular readers. Just one backlink on a popular site will do because too many backlinks will be considered spamming. With the effect of the backlinks it would take time and there is no certain period when the effect can be seen. You just have to be patient with that.

What are the uses of Sub-domains and how can it help your site?

If you have multiple sections on your website or are using different scripts, sometimes using subdomains is a good way to separate those sections. Each section has its own unique subdomain, which makes it easier to type directly into the browser for quick access. For example, blog.example.com would take you directly to the blog.
It is also used on websites that have a lot of traffic or that require a lot of disk space, where the different subdomains can be moved to different servers as needed without affecting the URLs.  For example, www.example.com might be on one server, while store.example.com might be on another.

It's also useful if you are using a third-party service, such as a hosting project management system, and you want to have your domain associated with your account. For example, you have your main website on a regular web hosting account at www.example.com, and your project management system is on the provider's server and you set it up so it can be accessed at projects.example.com.
(I tried to edit my earlier post to add this, but it wouldn't let me.)

matthewjohn938 reacted to Nathan in Sub-Domains: How Can It Help Your Site?
I don't know that it can help your site, but it definitely can keep things organized.
Such as here the main website is: https://www.prodjex.com and the forums here: https://forums.prodjex.com.  I also store some example code I create here: https://examples.prodjex.com and so on.
My project management system I do the same way:
    Root Domain: https://www.prodjax.com
    Actual Web Application: https://app.prodjax.com
My personal preference is I really like using sub-domains and prefer them over the trailing folder structure like https://prodjex.com/forums.

You can insert keywords to the URL,  It promotes good User experience if you have a large and confusing site.
Using Subdomain you can rank in niche markets thereby building authority.

I am agreed with the clarification, but someone doing blog commenting by considering the relevance, then definitely it works to get traffic. And definitely all SEO techniques are important if used in a right manner.
