  1. One thing I hate about windows is its mobile OS, they made it so confusing, its even hard to navigate the home screen unlike Android which very user friendly, they should have made it simpler, that's why windows phones didn't become a hit with users in the first place.
  2. What's great about windows 10 is it has Direct X12, it's a huge plus for the gamers out there. Also a cool feature is the solution screen, you can even split it into 4 by snapping it. Also it has ATP or Advance Threat Protection it's windows antimalware program. What do you like most in Windows 10?
  3. Windows XP was my most favorite Windows operating system, it was release in 2001 and is still being used today, unsupported that is, since Microsoft stopped it's technical support in 2014. But it still remains my most favorite Operating System. What's your most favorite Windows OS Version?
  4. To anyone who is a Windows Server Administrator. I am curious on how did you learn to use Windows Server. Did you buy your own server? Did you learn it on the job? Did you enroll in a course? Let me know your thoughts. I would like to learn how to administer using Windows Server and find a job in the future but I'm hesitant to do so because of the cost and hardware resources needed are high.

I'm finding a strange bug on one of my sites. The text shows up on a PC in any browser, but when I try to view it on my Mac in either Chrome or Safari the site nav bar and button text is missing. Why would the OS matter? Site link: http://goo.gl/f5UIft
  6. Had an older application earlier that required .net 1.1. I'm on Windows 7 with IIS7. I was told this isn't possible, but found this document that helped me get it installed and IIS6 compatibility. Works great! How to install ASP.NET 1.1 with IIS7 on Vista and Windows 2008
  7. So which do you prefer and why? I've had both and I like Linux better. It really does run things that I use faster. Most everything I use is PHP though and not .net. What are you guys experiences?
  8. Ah, Windows. We all love to make fun of it. We proudly run our sites from our shiny Linux-based hosting, and we laugh at those who even suggest Windows Server, but does it have a place? Why would one use a Windows server over Linux? It's more expensive and the GUI probably slows things down, but there must be an advantage if so many people use it over Linux. What could that be? The obvious thing is Microsoft technologies like ASP.NET and MS-SQL, but are there other reasons?
