fakesky
Hello. Does anyone know a service or a script that would send me a notification by email that a certain expires, not necessarily mine. When I do keyword research, I find many exact match domains that are not used, so I would't like to miss the chance to register it if the owner doesn't need it anymore. If the thread not in the right section, moderator please move it.
ChuckTesta
I'd like to know about this too. I'm currently watching one domain that has expired, but you have to wait 75 days after the expiration to secure it. which to me is stupid. They have all the time leading up to the expiration to decide if they want it. Oh well, and so i wait!
BlackHatClass
This should do it. http://www.ragesw.com/products/domainer.html Never tried it, so not sure. Found using a simple Google search.

Administrators Nathan Posted March 4, 2012 Administrators Share Posted March 4, 2012 I'm not sure if you can monitor it, but their are companies you can pay to grab them as soon as they drop. From what I read if you try to do it yourself you will never get it, you need a company and their resources to get it.
crumblepie
I believe Godaddy offers such a service: http://help.godaddy.com/article/579?locale=en
SpikeTheLobster
GoDaddy also has an auctioning system - you can "Backorder" just about any nearly-expired domain and, if it's a good one, it'll go to auction and you can bid on it (they warn you when it goes for auction and so on). Note that most of the nice domain names will cost you a grand, at least. Some are a lot higher (one I looked at last month was in the $5k range). Oh, and if you see any that are owned by companies with names like "netincome" or "netventures" or similar, you're screwed. They know what they're doing and will ask for piles of cash. bryce12
There are some services that allow you to monitor expiring domains. Here is one that I used few times http://www.pool.com/viewlist.aspx?ia=deleteddomainlist GoDaddy has a Domain Alert service that costs about $19 per month but I am not sure whether its worth it. ChuckTesta
^^Wow, have a signature!! I'll just keep an eye on the domain. No big deal if i get it or not. I suppose if it were make or break, i'd pay for such a service, but if it's just a desire to get a certain domain... no biggie.
Amdac
I've actually had success with backorders through godaddy. For one of my domains with a pretty decent name (see signature), I owned the .com and .net. The .org was actually an established site and from a quick skim of their site, it appeared they did world wide conventions. I threw a backorder on it just for the hell of it and snatched it up about a year later. I don't know if they accidentally let it expire, but I'm glad to own the entire brand now.
