So i know this may not be my place to suggest things, but i have to say some people with their huge images in their signature is a bit bothersome. For one reason, when on 3g connection and viewing the full site, they take a while to load... especially if that individual has multiple posts within the thread.

While i'm all for linking to personal pages, they can be somewhat respectful and limit the size of the images.

Just my .02

Am i way off base with this?

Hahah I was thinking the same thing myself yesterday. Although I like the freedom of being able to post whatever we want (which other forums typically charge you for) it does get a bit distracting. Glad it's being worked on!

Pet peeve. The worst are the gaming forums where everyone posts "me too" messages - one line of text and half a screen of crappy signature they think looks cool. Bleh.

I agree sometimes the signature images are too big even huge :D but most of the forums have a limit for that :P

I joined a forum the other day and saw some people having a 600X400 pixel images in their signatures. I was like, what was the forum own thinking? Personally, I think the images should be limited to 468X60 pixels.

In the future, if you run into this issue on other sites, there's an easy fix for yourself without waiting on an admin to put in restrictions.

For whatever browser you're using, install an adblock addon. Chrome and Firefox both have really good ones that are lightweight and won't slow you down at all. Then when you run across an obnoxious signature, just right-click it and mark it as an ad. It'll block their picture on every other page, too, so you don't have to wait for it to load, and you can set it to only apply to that forum so you don't somehow block something accidentally on another site.

I've tried plugins like this before, but I have found that they end up blocking other important things.

After I then spend 30 minutes trying to figure out why something's not working I then figure it out. :P

The concept is cool, but I don't think they are quite there with that product.
