Der Walker-Kaiser
Why does my Microsoft Office 2007 keep locking itself when i have entered the product key? I know the product key is right as i have used MO2007 with it before. It will open certain programmes such as Word or PowerPoint but won't let me use them. I have un-installed it and re-installed it to no avail. Help!!!!!!!!!!
Shaunno
loads of solutions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275 scroll down to Method 2 and note the file system location referenced in the manual repair steps, C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data. On your computer, open up My Computer, change to folder tree view, and navigate thru the file system to check whether your computer has any additional "all users" folders, such as "all users.windows" or something similar. If there is such a folder, manually apply the changes as described in the article to the opa11.dat file in this extra all users folder.
