DynamiteDai Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 For a while now I been using the turtle beach PX-21 headset and have found them to do the job rather well. Question is what headset do you use?(if any) Quote
Scotteh Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Well, I currently have been using the Fatal1ty gaming headset (http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=fatal1ty+headset&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=2809563744735535640&ei=nPD_TJn6I8TBhAe9z_3kCw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBwQ8wIwAA#) Which has not caused me any problems at all. Great voice quality and good sound. But this Christmas I'm upgrading to these: (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9255777/Trail/searchtext%3ETURTLE+BEACH.htm) Which is PS3, Xbox and PC native so I can use it for all my gaming platforms. (I don't have an Xbox though.) Quote
DynamiteDai Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Those are the headset I been using for a while now. Bro tip: Wire between headset and master control tangles like mad. Quote

Thrill Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I bought a headset from Tesco a few months back and it's pretty decent. It's a Sony, not sure about the model. Sound quality is pretty awesome and they was only like £25 Quote

DynamiteDai Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 Only two i have real experance with which i can say are a good buy are the turtle beach px21 since the are the all platform ones and Nox by Nox audio. I found Nox to be my favourite but managed to damage them so they are being repaired. Nox sell for around $79.99 which is like £51 and turtle beach about £61(not too sure) I'd give the turtle beach a 4/5 rating whilst giving the Nox about the same. Quote
Newmy Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Ah okay thanks, I'll give them a look when I get in. Quote
Danny Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I have been using the fatality ones and they are amazing for the price you pay for them! Quote

Shaunno Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 just go overkill and get the Sennheiser PC 350's Quote
Famous Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Sharkoon Xtactic 5.1 is a good reasonably priced gaming headset Astro A40's are good but the mix amp costs a bomb so all together they price at around £170 Turtle beach X31's are probably the best cheapish gaming headset as they cost around £-£90 Quote
