Advice on laptops

What laptops would you recommend for me to get?

I don't want to spend much as I'm only going to be using it for doing college work and socialising with friends.

I use an Acer Aspire 5532, it's decent for what I use it for, until my 18th when I get 1k to make my own desktop.

Here's a great laptop, the Toshiba Satellite T130-13Q. Might be slightly over your budget, however. It's around £350.
