Thrill
The bleeping is the Power On Self Test (POST) The bleeps actually mean something, here's a guide: No Beeps = Short,No power, Bad CPU/MB, Loose Peripherals One Beep = Everything is normal and Computer POSTed fine Two Beeps = POST/CMOS Error One Long Beep, One Short Beep = Motherboard Problem One Long Beep, Two Short Beeps = Video Problem One Long Beep, Three Short Beeps = Video Problem Three Long Beeps = Keyboard Error Repeated Long Beeps = Memory Error Continuous Hi-Lo Beeps = CPU Overheating

Thrill
For example if theres continuous hi-lo bleeps, then the CPU is overheating so you should probably leave the computer for a while, then try later. You should also reapply thermal paste. Repeated Long Beep is usually a memory error, so you could check your ram using a software like memtest86. What bleep are you getting? Der Walker-Kaiser
As it's obviously something to do with the motherboard, i think that you should probably open up the case and have a look around inside to see if any of the solder has melted. Also check that all the connections are still connected - they may just need pushing in further...... Hope it helps 8-)
