Try unplugging the power cable out of the back of your PC. I've heard this works, give it a shot. If not, we'll throw out more solutions :)

well ive tried it in my brothers laptop and it still doesn't work. but when he plugs it in his radio in his car it plays music still :S

you dont happen to have some drivers that came with it for the USB on the motherboard.

Also do you have any other USB devices installed into the laptop/PC and do they work ok?

Did you try my suggestion? Unplugging the power cable to your desktop.

try finding the make of your mobo then goping on the manufactures website and installing the latest chipset drivers/USB hub drivers, could be that their outdated and not picking up your memory stick,

is it a new memory stick?

okaaay i will try the manufactures website, if that fails to work then i will have to buy a new one.

 

Besides they are very cheap on ebay :)

Well ive had my 4GB for around 5 years now still working fine :)

 

Yeah, his memory stick. I've had mine ages too, not sure. I'd definitely try updating motherboard drivers first, then if not i'd just bin it and get a new one :D

yea i always try to fix summet for wasting money to be honest even if its a small amount
