Cyberhound Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Can't install my new Canon4350d multifunction laser printer. I get thru the install cd bit after reboot does not complete install. Quote
Thrill Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 More information is needed, what happens after the reboot? Quote
Cyberhound Posted January 30, 2011 Author Posted January 30, 2011 Nothing. In programs I get the mf4350 icon, but all it has in it is readme and uninstall. Not the mf350 program. Quote
Cyberhound Posted January 30, 2011 Author Posted January 30, 2011 It should confirm the installation after reboot, but I get nothing. Quote
Thrill Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Are you sure you aren't just installing the driver? and not the actual software? Sometimes there's a drively only, and a software suite Welcome to Geeksoup.net! Quote
Cyberhound Posted January 30, 2011 Author Posted January 30, 2011 I am installing the intallation CD that comes with the printer. It has the driver and toolbox included. Quote
Shaunno Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 You could try uninstalling all the printer drivers and software then reinstalling them. You could also try installing the applications manually, by opening the CD and running the install packages one by one. Quote
Shaunno Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 http://support-sg.canon-asia.com/contents/SG/EN/0100162101.html Tried these drivers? Don't know whether it has other software with the driver. Quote
Thrill Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 So your computer doesn't find your printer? You can't use it? Quote
Thrill Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 So the disc that came with the Printer, does not work? You can't use your printer after installing the contents of the disc? Is the printer compatible with your version of Windows? Cheers Quote
webdevuser Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Just to be sure, did you plug the usb cable of the printer to your computer? Quote
CHiLL Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 If the disc provided didn't work, the next port of call would be to check Cannon's wesbite for support and drivers. Find the drivers that match your printer and operating system, and try them. Quote
