Scottie
I want to order something. The order page does NOT have the padlock sign. I clicked on "Safety" in my upper right screen. It gives info re the site's Certificate. In Certificate box, it says: "This connection to the server is encrypted." Does that that info that I provide to the site (my credit or debit card) is encrypted? Do I have any protection if I order from this site? Thrill
Yes, if it's encrypted the site should be fine. What is the site though? We'll check if it's safe
Shaunno
Also if the website has https then its secured, if it has just http then it is not a secured login page.

eckofoxtrot
If your ordering with your credit card, to avoid any doubt then I highly suggest you use a trusted site eg. Ebay or Amazon, you will probably surprise yourself, when you find your product cheaper there, who knows.
