Shaunno
Do you get any warning message when you change the DPI to 200%? If the warning says “Some items may not fit your screen if you choose this setting while your display is set to this resolution” then that is not the optimal resolution for your computer, you will have to decrease the resolution and check if that helps. Also you could try this website: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Ways-to-improve-display-quality
Thrill
Hi syracuse, Does this issue only happen with DPI set to 200%?

Shaunno
Your eyes will be fine mate if you take regular breaks. You can either run it on 150%. Or try lowering the resolution and running 200% DPI.
Thrill
Your eye's will be fine, it's CRTs, slow refresh rates and long periods of times that damage eyes. Just take regular breaks and change the font size and everything will be good

CHiLL
May I ask whether you have an existing eye sight problem, or merely wanting to protect your eyes from damage? If it is the latter, then you'd only get damaged eyes after massive prolonged use, meaning many, many hours without breaks day after day. The problem you face is 200DPI doesn't appear to work correctly at 1920x1080, so you may have to lower your resolution to one more suited to work at 200DPI.
