Thrill Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Hi there, Have you tried reinstalling the device through the Device Manager?

Thrill Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 You'd need to download your Sound card driver. What motherboard do you have? What Operation System you using?
Shaunno Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 If you go to the device manager do you see devices with yellow exclamation marks or question marks, also check under the sound tab in the device manager and check it hasnt being disabled. Also did the problem come on suddenly or have you reinstalled windows?
Scotteh Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 To access device manager using Windows 7 (if you're unsure) Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Device Manager.
MAJESTIC Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 @Thrill mine is da Mora motherboard, 945Ghz Micro 775 SE loaded wid windows xp, service pack 2 version 2002. @Shaunno i havnt re-installed my windows nor am i getting ny yellow exclamation marks in device manager section.
CHiLL Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 First, download the sound driver from here; http://download.biostar.com.tw/upload/Driver/Audio/Realtek/HD/2KXP/WDM_R257.exe. Now, in Device Manager, browse to "Sound, video and game controllers". Find your sound card, right click it, and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer. Run the setup file you downloaded from the link above, go through the setup and then reboot once complete. Does your sound now work?
