So has anyone ever heard of http://buyingapples.com/ ?

I used them when I got the 4S. I was still under contract with ATT so for the 4S it cost me $450 bucks. I sold my iPhone 4 to BuyingApples.com and they gave me $300 for it. So I actually got the 4S for less than the 2 year contract price. I plan on using them again when the iPhone 5 comes out.

Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience as I couldn't find a whole lot about them online. They will mail or PayPal you the $. I got mine PayPal'd.

I thought about going on Craigslist, but they offered more money than I could get on Craigslist without the hassle.

Helpful post, will consider using this site when i upgrade my iphone 4 to a iphone 5. Just wondering do they ask about the condition of the phone?

This is nice. Maybe I'll end up using them when I get a new iMac down the road. Apple hardly pays anything for it, but it still runs great.

Thanks for sharing this; I'll have to remember that site.

This seems like an interesting website! I think I will use this when my Mac becomes out-dated. Having the money Paypal'd to me would be great as well! I'm glad they put an option for shipping your Mac, because that's the only Apple brand device I have in my house at the moment. Thanks for the share!

So let me get this right, you sell your phone at some point into your contract and then use that money to pay off your contract? Askin as Im wondering if I could do this with my S2 and get the S3

So I get the new iPhone every time it comes out. That is 1 time per year. But each time I buy a new one AT&T makes me resign the 2 year contract. So every time I purchase one I pay the full amount of like $499 for a phone. With these guys I first go buy my new phone for $499 get everything swapped over then I mail my old phone off to BuyingApples and then give me a check for $290.

Now if you are out of the 2 year contract with AT&T it would cost you $199 for the new iPhone as you can see with BuyingApples I end up paying the same as if I was a new account.

I've heard of that site, but can't remember if that's because it was good or bad...

I've never had an issue with them.

Ah now I see.... However Im thinkin of this in a different way. Ya see Im not bothered about being on contract. In fact with the amount I use my phone its actually worthwhile me being on one. However Im now wondering if there is some kinda sweetspot between contracts where I get my phone for nothing, then can upgrade it a few month later for nothing by paying up my contract with the sale of my old phone. Gotta be worth a try :)

I've honestly searched twice and cant find anywhere where they are selling used Phones....

Ah yeah just checked, looks like they must only sell the used stuff in the store not online.
