Jessi Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I don't personally use YT to make money current, but for anyone who does or wants to, this is a great article: http://www.dailyblogtips.com/how-to-make-money-on-youtube/ Quote
ChuckTesta Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Decent read. I have about 4 YouTube accounts, all with monetizing. Unless you're making a ton of videos with a ton of followers, you're not going to make much. If you can make a video, and it goes viral on reddit or something, you'll do well. Otherwise, keep on trucking like the rest of us. Quote
Godric Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I make 40 videos a day and upload to 10 accounts. Easy 20-30$ if you ask me. Too much bother with all the whitehat techniques. Quote
Godric Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 40 videos? On what? Random stuff. People like crazy things. Actually there are like 5-8 videos and I mix them up and add some slides to make them unique. SO far they like it. Only 95% complain. Quote
Jessi Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Only 95% complain. Only 95% have a problem with it, eh? Now that's what good customer service is built off of, lol. Quote

Godric Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Only 95% have a problem with it, eh? Now that's what good customer service is built off of, lol. Actually I think they are too lazy ro even comment. So they just like or dislike it. When it gets out of hand I get some +likes from other accounts and aloha we are back on track. I do have problems sometimes too. COmpetitors flagging videos sometime when I try some good niches. Your videos make that per day for how long? It varies. 20$ on average and Max is on weekends. I dont upload everyday too. I have other projects to work with. But its good for beggineers. Easiest way to make money. On weekdays I get around 6-12$. And I am using Fileice if anyone has any questions. I would go for better goodies too. But I got a Moronic payment system in my country, so paypal is Fcked. Quote
paolochicha Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Want to make more money than just from YouTube ads? You should try Panovax, our video ad revenue platform. It's totally free and no risk to you. We designed this as a supplemental way for great creators like yourself to make real money off your videos. It's really easy, just sign-up and then connect directly with 3rd party advertisers. The platform then re-posts your videos on youtube, viddler, and other networks with a special commercial before your clips. Quote
Ezekiel Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I don't think Step 5 & 6 would work for me. I won't bother creating so many videos a day or thinking of video ideas and post them on YouTube. Although being a YouTube partner banks a lot of money. Like famous YouTube stars; Nigahiga, KevJumba, Freddiew and the others. They make thousands of dollars a month just by uploading videos. But being a successful YouTube partner take a lot of work, talent and skill. I would prefer earning AFK money, since I'm going to college. Quote
merlyn73 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I have a fellow expat friend who lives in Taiwan making his living as a V-Logger on YouTube, and he appears to be doing quite well. He is an avid motorcyclist, and all of his videos are done POV style by sticking his camera on his helmet as he rides around downtown Taipei. He just talks about games, current events, and how to pick up Chinese girls. I don't know exactly how much he makes, but that is one heck of a cool lifestyle right there! Quote
psufootball Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I've seen people that make their livings off of YouTube, but I don't think it's a good mindset to go in there with that kind of idea. Too many people trying to mimic the lifestyles of those lucky few. Quote

I absolutely agree, I think if you go to any online earning venture thinking that you are going to break the bank, you will inevitably end up falling on your hind end. It's all about trial, error, and learning from mistakes... Quote

You actually have to be interested and knowledgeable about your niche. merlyn73 1 Quote

Whats the assurance that I get paid? What are the rates? Quote

Garrett Erb Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 One of my friend's younger brother made $16,000 last year from cheesy airsoft gun videos. Can't imagine how he got so many views (500,00+), but can't knock the hustle! He's only 16 too, future millionaire in the making ! Quote
merlyn73 Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 After reading some of these stories, I'm considering doing a little vlogging myself. I can't ride a motorcycle though, they don't have Harleys down here... Quote

And of all, you need to have idea what to talk about ! If the people notice you , you will be getting 100,000 unique views/day. Quote
bryce12 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 I read somewhere that if you can identify and reupload viral videos on a regular basis then you can bank big money with Youtube. I don't remember the forum where I read it but the essence of the method was to track down videos that have been uploaded recently and are getting good number of views. The next step was to download and reupload the video and try to rank it for one related keyword and use a CPA offer link in the description. Never tried it but it sounds great in theory. Another way to cash big is to use Google trends to identify trends and upload videos related to them. Quote
ChuckTesta Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Cats... everyone loves cats. Upload a video of your cat, put it on reddit and you're viral. Thank me later. Victor Leigh 1 Quote
Victor Leigh Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Cats... everyone loves cats. Upload a video of your cat, put it on reddit and you're viral. Thank me later. Cats? Why not dogs? I thought more people have dogs as pets than people have cats as pets. Quote
ChuckTesta Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Cats are cute... Cats attract women and kids... where dogs are seen more as "Man's" best friend. Don't get me wrong; dog's, with their derp faces are funny, but cat's don't have to be doing anything out of the norm to get you a viral hit. Quote
ljepilo Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Cats? Why not dogs? I thought more people have dogs as pets than people have cats as pets. Because everyone loves cats, didn't you read his previous post ? Somehow cats are more cuter than dogs ! Well at least for me. Quote
