High PR Blog comments? Or..

Hi all

 

Just wanted to know which one do you prefer:

 

High PR blog comments from blogs in different niche

 

Or niche-relevant comment links from fresh posts?

 

I go for the first one.

I do both, but if I have a choice I would rather have it on niche relevant sites/posts as I think they are more valuable. If someone is reading a related post they are more likely to visit your site.

I don't get much traffic from any kind of blog comments, whether in the same niche or not. The only way I've ever had any kind of useful traffic from blogs is by commenting to the point where the owner becomes a friend and mentions something I post.

I like a mix of both. I don't get a ton of traffic from them, but the trickle is nice regardless. You never know when that one random comment you make might be the one that gets you more than a trickle, too, and I'd hate to try to limit myself to either high PR -or- niche related blogs.

That is exactly what I do too. A mix of them is the best. Although it's a a bit hard to find them.

No traffic? That might be erither because your comment is not good enough, or the blog you are commenting on is not good enough.

It's more because I don't cater to the BS inspirational and/or motivational crowd, I think. The vast majority of blog visitors in my niche just want their quick, easy fix of nonsense quotes or the same old regurgitated "secrets" (which aren't) and don't give two hoots about what other people are doing or taking time to read something that can help them improve.

 

Since I'm not really catering to the low end, find-me-a-cheap-and-easy-job crowd, they go somewhere else, I guess. That's the price of trying to do something I consider worthwhile rather than just playing to the masses.

 

And yes, niche relevance is critical for my stuff. Bummer, really!

I personally do one more than the other. I tend to go for high quality commments on relevant blogs. The reason being is that although these links are usually nofollow, they can bring you some traffic if your comments are relevant and useful.

 

If I find a high PR blog that hasnt been spammed to death, again I will leave a decent relevant comment.

I use both the methods. I don't know which one is more valuable but I think one is for immediate traffic which the other is for improving search engine rankings. The most difficult part if to find High PR blog and blog posts to comment on..

When you post on blogs for backlinks, do you post them in your comment or just have your user name as hyperlink to your site?

Does it help if your user name is actually a keyword to title of an article you linked on your site?

Leave it in the comment itself. No one really looks to see if your username is hyperlinked with your site.

Maybe not, but a blog owner is also more likely to remove your comment entirely if you put the link directly in your comment, too. If you're going to go that route, make sure you're linking to a specific part of your site that's relevant to what you're saying, so it doesn't come off as spammy.

Yeah, I also worry blog owners see a direct link to a same topic article on another web site of same niche as competition and remove it even your comment does not look like spam at all.

 

I just wonder if post your user name with hyperlink to your own article on a same niche site would help with SEO the same way as posting a link within your comment.

It can. If it's a do-follow site, the comment links will show up to the search engines regardless. Beyond that, it's still nice for people to be able to click when they like your comment, even if it doesn't directly add to SEO.

I rarely ever accept a comment on my blogs with a URL in it. Akismet automatically dumps most in the spam folder but if any get through you'd have to be very well-established as a commenter for me to leave it in. That's just the way it is.

When i post link on my comments, moderator delete the link,so how can i create backlinks from blogcomments?

Can anybody tell me or give me the approved blog comments address?help me plz..

You'll need to find a new site.

 

Some sites watch those things VERY closely, while others could care less. It's a hit and miss.
