ford1001
Which out of the two series do you prefer to play and why? I choose Call of Duty as I find it a lot easier to find a game and get into the action.
CHiLL
I have played the campaigns all of the CoD since CoD4 and I've also played BF2/BF3. I don't play any online, as I can't be bothered.

Levelling up, prestiging then doing it again next year?
Administrators Nathan Posted April 19, 2012 Administrators Share Posted April 19, 2012 Eh depends on my mood, I like all the vehicles in Battlefield 3, but didn't like any of the previous versions. Call of Duty I haven't liked since MW2.

Engo
On PC I prefer Battlefield, because the PC-support for CoD is very bad in my opinion. Patches came out very late, while PS3 and xBox had them since month. I played MW1 + 2 very much, but the new ones are bad I think.
Fallace
Battlefield all the way, so many more vehicles, the maps are insane, the multi-player is truly team-oriented, and it just feels real. Call of Duty looks and feels like it was designed for kids... no thanks!
redinit
I loved Battlefield 1, never played 2, bought 3, couldn't stand it. Bought COD:MW3, loving it. Can't wait for Black Ops 2 to come just so I can play zombies.
KevinN
I'll have to pick Battlefield 3. However, I stopped playing after like a month or so due to boredom. xD
Godric
I will choose Call of duty anytime. It is awesome lol. Although battle field is good too. But it doesn't yet rival the immersive experience of call of duty. I am waiting for the next one to come now.
Grumpy
If it's a straight comparison between Call of Duty: MW3 and Battlefield 3, I'd go for Battlefield 3 anyday. Although, if it's between the Call of Duty series in general (including Black Ops), I'd go for that any day!
tosaytheleast
I'd go for Battlefield3. I've tried COD4 before and I have not liked it. I think it is not that exciting as Battlefield and the persons above are right. The vehicles are cool!
johnr
I like flying Jets in Battlefield, that and it has better sniper rifle physics. The COD franchise is just turning to the same thing over and over again. Unlike battlefield though, where they consider adding more features in the game. xtinguish
I prefer call of duty mainly because I like the online and the really competitive feel. Plus I'm use to it and a lot of my friends play online as well.

Based on what, your real use of the particular sniper, or what you've read? I'm just curious because I hear people all the time on online say this/that doesn't/does work like it does in the game, when most of them have never touched a pistol/rifle. I've never shot a sniper rifle, but I qualify with the M16A4 and M9 pistol. But nonetheless I couldn't stand Battlefield and the stupid people flying plans and crap. Yes COD is the same thing over and over again, but I can't find a better FPS, and there is nothing better than getting drunk and killing zombies online. I almost had the chance to fire a Barrett M82 when I was deployed, but the range was canceled Edited May 18, 2012 by redinit
tetutato
Not even reading the other posts, Battlefield 3 automatically wins for me hands-down. COD is in general a good game but by now, it's been recycled like 5 times...
psufootball
I prefer the fast-paced action of Call of Duty over the tactical gameplay of BF. But both are good FPS games, they're just different.

I'm waiting for my new graphic card so I can play at maxed graphic details. My current graphic card really sucks . It should be worth the wait. BF3 is supposed to be a much better PC game than console game.. something that isn't true for CoD which is a much better party atmosphere Xbox/PS3 game. Ezekiel
Battlefield 3 is the best FPS game today! Battlefield 3 beats MW3 big time, it's true! I've played both games, I enjoyed both of them but Battlefield 3 stood out the most for me. The graphics the gameplay and every war detail, Battlefield 3 has it. Although the MW3 is also a good game, I really don't see it as a competition for MW3. Not to mention that Battlefield 3 soldiers has feet and the MW3 soldiers are hovering, lol. I can guarantee the more you wait, the more awesome it would be once you finally play it at max settings... It's just beautiful on my 1080p monitor. Which GPU are you getting? I've played Battlefield 3 on my PS3 with a LED TV and with HDMI cable and it was a blast! It's was so breath taking, I can't believe how great the graphics are today. Although I really favor Battlefield 3 over MW3, I was really disappointed with the Campaign. The campaign wasn't bad, the story wasn't bad. The only problem I had with it was the short campaign. The developers said that they focused more on the online content and less on the online content.

To my knowledge, the MW3 campaign is pretty short as well and I would imagine shorter than the BF3 campaign.
