iPad 2 or The New Ipad?

Recommended Posts

If you have enogh money, why not the new iPad?

But I would prefer an android tablet. For example a samsung tablet is not worst than an iPad. It's just cheaper. ;)

Furthermore I like android more than iOS, but that's in the eye of the behavior.

If it should be an iPad, and you have the money, I think you should buy the new one.

How come you're getting an iPad. I mean, they are very good for teachers and professors but otherwise...Not as useful. If you already have an iPhone I see no point in getting an iPad.

But, if you're getting one of the two I would say: Go with iPad 2. The new iPad has a better resolution and the screen is slightly clearer, you can barely notice it.

It depends on your preferences, its up to you.

First ask yourself, do you really need an iPad? I bought a tablet few months back but I didn't found much use for it since I do coding most of the time. It's great for entertainment and apps but I wouldn't suggest buying it if you don't need it.

I totally agree. I would go for an android tablet too. I just seem better stuff with it. The android tablet I would by would probably be the Xoom or the Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

Depending on what you want to do with it. Research some Lenovo tablets cause they have great ones.

Does Australia support 4g networking? I know over here in the UK there is currently an article on the BBC regarding the new iPad and 4g: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17899912

To me that would be decision on what one to get. I would completely support getting a tablet device as it's something that you will never realise you needed till you get one.

Australia doesn't offer 4G and people who bought an iPad not knowing this got a full refund back because of our consumer laws. I am deciding between an iPad or Galaxy Tab

I disagree with almost every point here. The iPad is great for anyone, not just teachers or professors. Not sure what your point is on that. The iPads screen is TWICE the resolution.... if that's not enough to wow you with an incredible screen, not much will. The screen is absolutely beautiful. Go and compare the two side by side and you'll see an incredible difference.

I've had each iPad, 1-3. The third is by far the better ipad. It's screen makes for a whole new experience. The thing you have to realize with the iPad is that it's not a creating device (typically), it's a consumption device. Meaning you consume data, you take in what it shows you. You can surf the net, get email, watch movies, listen to movies and play games. But what you won't be doing is creating spreadsheets, creating/coding programs or things like that.

If you were to go with the Galaxy Tablet, you'll be in the same situation. The difference between the two is quite grand. Do your homework and figure out what you want. Don't have buyers remorse after the purchase because you didn't take the time to read up on the two of them.
