Ownageprankers Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Out of all the browsers their are, the one I prefer is Firefox because the ease of use is brilliant and the amounts of addons their are make it unbelievable. Their are themes, add-ons, extensions, and is very easy to integrate other software's. I have my FTP program in Firefox so I don't need to use a separate program for the FTP. I have an ad blocker which makes it more exciting to browse the internet easily. Also Firefox is a heavyweight browser, with incredible stability and a massive index of user made add-ons which make it very customizable including, hundreds of sleek CSS readers and an easy to use browser proxy setting. Only if you feel the need to protect the privacy of your browsing.Although, Google Chrome is another browser I prefer even though Firefox is my most preferred. Google chrome offers the most benefits out of all the browsers I have tried before. Not only is Google Chrome is easy to access and customize, but it also manages to make surfing the internet much faster. The best feature about Google Chrome that I enjoy is that if I type anything in the URL bar, it redirects me to Google search of what I typed. Google chrome is a lightweight browser, and the add-on feature haven't had time to evolve into the massive index Firefox posses. Firefox is my most preferable and recommended browser to use of the features it posses. Google Chrome is also another browser I also recommend if you don't prefer Firefox. What is your preferred browser? Why? Quote
Administrators Nathan Posted April 24, 2012 Administrators Posted April 24, 2012 Firefox is becoming too bloated like IE. I used to use it, but now all I use is Google Chrome, it loads the program and pages the fastest. Quote
ChuckTesta Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Personally, i use google chrome. It offers the most security, IMO. I have firefox installed, and occasionally use it. It's just not my primary. Safari basically sucks, so does IE. Quote
Gidget Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Out of the all browsers I think Firefox is best browser then Google Chrome both are super but Firefox is my most preferable and recommended browser Quote
Talk Tech News Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Google Chrome is easily my favourite. The only time a run another browser is when I am checking compatibility with my websites. Chrome is the fastest and when I am browsing the internet that is what matters the most for me. I don't want all of the extra add-ons that other browsers have! Quote
Hardison Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Firefox is my primary browser. It's no where as fast as Google Chrome, but I prefer it. I use it to basic browsing and when I'm doing any seo and/or internet marketing work. I do have Chrome and have begun using it more and more. Besides the security issue, I see a lot more ads online when I use Chrome. I had no idea how many ads there are online! With Firefox, I basically have a ad free browsing experience. Quote
legalize Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 It took 30 minutes of using Chrome to never look back. Though I still like IE, I don't use it. Quote
CityGirlLuv Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Opera is super fast, but some sites just won't load on there like it will on Chrome. Chrome is fast to me and actually is my favorite with Opera being a close second. I use to love FireFox but it seems like there's an update for it everyday so I don't even deal with it anymore. Quote
offspringftw Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I used to be the Firefox fanboy. Now...Not so much. I think the company is great, even open-source I've heard. But Google Chrome is literally sky-rocketing. Its safer and more stable. I used to like Firefox for all the addons it had to offer. Now that Chrome is getting more and more addons I'm sticking with it. I've heard that Rockmeit is also pretty good and developed by only one student, its quite impressive. Whats even more impressive is that it is being preffered amongst a lot of developers, coders, etc. Quote
grgnng Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I have been using Firefox for the past three years and have not seen any nagative out come, on the sides I always use chrome which also look cool but not my favourite. Quote
CHiLL Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 For me, it would just have to be Mozilla Firefox. I've been using it for years, and I much prefer not only its default skin, but it's customisable ones too. I also love all the add-ons. Google Chrome has grown on me, but I just can't part with Firefox. Despite its slower loading times and little hangs, I still love it. Quote
Jimmy Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I use to love Firefox, but since i got my new laptop i have been using Google Chrome or my Private Browser i made Quote
psufootball Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I used to be an all Firefox guy, but Chrome has just surpassed it in both speed and simplicity. Plus their add-on market is growing at an exponential rate. Quote
Fallace Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I like Opera, but I don't really hate any one browser in particular either... save for Safari of course. Quote
psufootball Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I like Opera, but I don't really hate any one browser in particular either... save for Safari of course. Don't you have issues with particular sites not loading properly in Opera? I used to use it as my primary browser but websites would be all over the places on a consistent basis. Quote
tosaytheleast Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I would go for Google Chrome. I was a firefox user before but I have always complain for firefox's slow start up so when I discovered that chrome has faster start up I immediately switched and has never switched back since then. I like chrome because for it is the faster browser and it is very easy to use. Quote
KevinN Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Mine would be Google Chrome. Super fast, and super easy to use. Quote
DarkGizmo Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I'm an avid Firefox user. I've also used Chrome before but I always end up going back to Firefox. So i think I'll stay with it. it hasn't failed me since I started using it back in 2004. Quote
Victor Leigh Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I have been using Firefox for a long time and I am using it. True, it does hang up on me now and then but it's mostly my fault in overloading it with addons. There are simply too many lovely addons and it's easy to get carried away. At the moment I am using Aurora Firefox Nightly. Supposed to be updated automatically all the time, I think. Quote
Grumpy Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I've tried all of the main internet browsers but have yet to come across one better looking and faster than Google Chrome, and for those reasons, and those reasons alone, I'll probably stick with Google Chrome for as long as it's around, or at least until something bigger and better comes along! Quote
xtinguish Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I'd defiantly say Opera is my favorite browser. It's safe, fast, and has plugins. Basically everything I need or worry about. Quote
johnr Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I'd gotta say firefox is slowly turning to IE and I'm starting to prefer Chrome with it's sandbox but that's just me. Quote
Jessi Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I used to be a diehard Firefox fan, but I've moved on at this point. I'll still open it occasionally for various things and I wish it were better again, but for now, I'll stick with Chrome. It still doesn't have all the addons that I got used to on FF, but I'll deal, simply because it's not constantly crashing like Firefox likes to do these days. Quote
1ufakin Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I used a lot of browsers before, IE, Firefox, safari, but in the end i still always end up loving chrome for its speed and easy to use interface. I used to believe Firefox had all the best add-ons but then i found out chrome had good addons too =D. Quote
Ezekiel Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I'm surprised you still added the Internet Explorer to the poll, since it looks obsolete compared to the other internet browsers. My vote goes to Google Chrome. My reasons is because I've been using this laptop for almost 5 years now and I've been focusing my budget more on my studies so I couldn't afford a new one. Still, even though my laptop's out of date I could still surf fine because of Google Chrome. I know Firefox is also a great internet browser but it eats a lot of RAM and Google Chrome doesn't. Quote
