CHiLL
The latest installment of the Bioshock series has been delayed, with a new release date of February 28th, 2013. The previous two games both suffered similar delays. Bioshock Inifinte is being developed by Irrational Games, who developed the original Bioshock game, whereas Bioshock 2, which was a sequel to Bioshock was developed by 2K Marin. Bioshock Infinite will move away from the original story, but keep the same game style and play. Bioshock Infinite will also not be shown at E3 or Gamescom. Irrational Games have released the following statement: "Ken Levine, Creative Director of Irrational Games, stated, “When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infiniteinto something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.” http://ir.take2games...icle&ID=1693730 This is a real shame, as Bioshock Inifite is one of the games I'm most looking forward to, but I hope that the delay means that the final product will be better! http://www.eurogamer...delayed-to-2013 Edited May 9, 2012 by CHiLL
redinit
Besides Hitman: Absolution, Bioshock: Infinite is the only game I'm looking forward to coming up. Both have which been delayed. But this could mean they are fixing unforeseen problems.
