Screen Recording on Ubuntu?

Hey all, I have a youtube channel and I want to show off my new ubuntu (which looks awesome!), but I am an absolute Linux noob. How would I screen capture video? What software do you guys recommend, or should I try to use Vine and get a Windows recorder?

 

I am not sure what to do, as I am completely lost with Linux. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
