ssjgoku206
Does anyone's idevice ever go into safe mode? I recently jailbroken my device on the latest 5.1.1 firmware on my iPhone 4. Everything was fine until I started installing all the tweaks and themes from the cydia store. Now every time I try to turn on my device it crashes and goes into safe mode. Is there a way I can fix this, or do I have to restore back to the stock iOS?
Thomas
I have never seen or even heard of my iPhone going into Safe Mode. I would think this is your phone's reaction to being jailbroken.
ssjgoku206
Thanks for your reply and I guess you could be right that its the reaction to the jailbreak. Here is picture of what it looks like, its not from my screenshot but its the same popup. As for now I think, I should just try to figure out what I can do to fix it. Before resorting to restoring it to the stock operating system.
Administrators Nathan Posted June 3, 2012 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2012 I'm guessing the "Safe Mode" is something that's included with the Jailbroken software, not stock from Apple.
Microsuck
This happens when Mobile Substrate crashes. It's perfectly okay and if it didn't happen, bad things would. Make sure all of your packages are up-to-date . Edited June 3, 2012 by Thomas
ChuckTesta
^^This. It's really nothing but a precaution. Just go into Cydia and make sure all your apps are good to go. You can also start deleting apps until you find the problematic one.

eolvr52
Just out of curiosity, what apps/tweaks have you installed from Cydia? Applocker, Activedock, Cydelete, and FullForce are known to cause problems if you have installed those. If so, try getting rid of them and see if that solves your problem
