dexterlablab1 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 The rumor is that Silicon Knights may die very soon. Nintendo is rumored to have canceled Eternal Darkness 2 and the company has lost their court battle with Epic. And now they've been forced to layoff an already reduced sized team http://games.on.net/article/15838/Rumour_Nintendo_Cancel_Eternal_Darkness_2_Silicon_Knights_Now_In_Limbo Quote
Marc Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Depends really. These places only need to make one more good game to win back their team. Just depends on whether they manage it or not. Some do, some dont Quote

Some do, some dont Even one good game may not be enough if it doesn't sell well. Even though a lot of crap comes out, some good, even great games come out too. And unfortunately, even with being great they don't always sell well. And Silicon Knights seems to be having a hard time getting the assistance and publishing partners they need right now. Quote
