The three monitor setup is called nVidia Eyevision or something of that sorts right?

Doesn't the space between the borders of each monitor cause a disruption in viewing?

You don't spread the windows in the middle of that, just have email on one window a browser on the other then code on another.

You have different things open on different screens, rather than spreading one thing across all. Like Nathan said, it's best when coding, having something to look at on one screen, and the code you're working on, on another.

I want this:

I wonder if you can get a splitter and run them if you run out of ports for monitors on your video card?

I believe there are specialized software and hardware for that kind of thing. If you go down to the disco and ask the technical support people there, they might be able to tell you better. I have seen those panels covering an entire wall in a disco.

AMD Athlon II x4 640 3GHz

8 GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

And I really, really don't want to talk about my current monitor. God I miss my old one and at the very least I need a second one now, even if I'm stuck using the current one for a while longer.

I currently have an ASUS laptop (for portability) with the current specs:

CPU: Intel i5 460M

RAM: 4Gb

GPU #1: Intel HD Graphics

GPU #2: Nvidia 310M

Resolution: 1366x768

HDD: 460Gb 5400 RPM

I have no idea what's the name of my mouse since it's a cheap brand and I've erased everything from usage. The keyboard, mics and speakers are built-in.

I'm pretty happy with my current laptop. Fits my portability necessities and I can still code and game in it. I haven't had a single hardware problem in the 2 years of life I've had with it, which is pretty good contrasting to my previous experience with other computers.

Oh my! The specs I'm reading here send my PC to the museum forthwith. While people are talking of RAMs of 12 GB I'm in the 1 GB DDR1 class. Anyway I wouldn't shy off from sharing my comparatively lower specs:

RAM: 1 GB

Processor: Dual Core 3.0GHz

Hard Disk; 80GB

it is a Lenevo desktop of 2007..:D
