Marc
OK I know that this is gonna only apply to people of a certain agegroup, however if your in that age group your will know LOL So the question is simple. Was you a SNES head or a Megadrive Kid (Genesis in some countries)? Personally I went from the Sega Master System to the Megadrive and was always one for sonic rather than mario. The only game I enjoyed more on the SNES as a kid was Mario Carts which was (and still is) ACE!!!
redinit
Sega Genesis 16bit to Sega Dreamcast SNES to Gamecube NBA Jam all day The Dreamcast, in my opinion was before its time.
CHiLL
I had both, but preferred the games on the Megadrive.
redinit
I had both, but preferred the games on the Megadrive. Never seen one in real life. I do remember playing on the Sega CD and Sega Saturn.
Jessi
Well if you really want the age group..... I'm an NES girl, not even SNES. I did move on to other Nintendo products later and will continue to buy them in the future, sure. I've played on other systems, including from Sega Genesis, but they're just never going to capture my heart (or my money) like Nintendo has. Jessi
I've never played Zelda, there, I said it. Lol! I'll do you one worse. I've played it and didn't like it. /gasp I know, I know, everybody's supposed to love Zelda and have this huge nostalgic obsession, but it's really not a game I enjoyed as a kid and I never bothered to go back and play with it more. Epicfied
I was not a SNES kid... or a Sega kid... I was a NES kid. The sweet, sweet Nintendo Entertainment System. I have definitely played other systems and I loved the SNES as well, but I was definitely a NES kid. I've played it and didn't like it. I disown you. ridwan sameer
I was really small when these came out, So used to play at my cousins only. But I preferred the Megadrive (Hence i preferred to go to my cousins house with the megadrive rather than the one with the snes ;P
shinastray
I was both. I had a SNES, but I'd usually play the Genesis over at friends' houses, and I never had a favorite.
dexterlablab1
I was more of a kid of both in my day. Had both the NES and Sega Master System. Enjoyed both. Same with the Genesis and SNES and so on. That's why it was so upsetting for me when Sega decided to stop making home systems. It was like a blow to my childhood.
Jessi
I disown you. Oh thank god, finally! But no, I really just don't have any special connection to Zelda. I know I'm supposed to adore it and fawn over it constantly but....no thanks. I'll spend my time elsewhere.

dexterlablab1
Oh shush! It's understandable...but who doesn't like Zelda? I use to like Zelda. But after "A Link to the Past" (SNES game) the stories starting gettng repetitive, and then flat out silly. So basically, after the SNES, I'd all but given up on Zelda. DarkGizmo
Ahh yes the age old debate! I had both growing up. I liked both for different types of games but I was always a Sega kid. I had the genesis and LOVED it. Played Sonic since I was 3 years old. I also had a Dreamcast when that launched, still have one today ;D I got my genesis still but it's not in use, for my genesis games I use a RetroN3 and i'm enjoying it, also using it for my NES and SNES games as well. However, I will ALWAYS love Sega and the consoles they made. Oh and I had a game gear and gameboy, liked the GG more even though the battery life SUCKED on it. beats88
Ooohhh toughie. That's pretty much Street Fighter VS Ecco the Dolphin for me. Going to have to go with Sega, remember having more games on it. Oh but then again on the Super Nintendo there was the amazing Super Ghouls and Ghosts. It's too hard to choose! jodiann12
I was SNES kid. I loved Mario. Anything with Mario in it, I loved. I'm not a big of Sega Genesis. I wasn't too fond of that I'm afraid.
Agent_Nycto
I didn't get any consoles as a kid, so any time I could get my hands on a controller, I did. I think I preffered the sega system overall, but liked the NES games more.
ENO1986
I am a Sega fan the genesis was my first system and sonic 2 was my 1st game and loved it, I also enjoyed the Dreamcast as well I feel it was underappreciated, but I loved playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2, the first Nintendo system I received was the N64 which I loved as well. I think the only Sega system that I didn't enjoy was the Game Gear.

hun10sta
Definitely Nintendo I owned a SNES back in the day, so many classic games for that thing. I really loved it, and I still have it, and it still works perfect. Sadly, a lot of the games are missing
