15ykoh Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi DB forums! I'm merely fifteen, but I feel that programming is probably going to be one of my life long pursuits. I signed up to this forum to learn more about a hobby, and hopefully to turn it into something more from guiding directions of more senior members. I have only learned to code in C and C++, but I hope to learn more. I intend to learn java and/or HTTP, and also advance C++ skills to something more than being able to write simple text based programs. I feel that I'm up to a minor start and I have been taking programming courses in High School. As a final note, I am in the school's Robotics team, and next year they are going to need couple Java programmers. Any good ideas that are free or relatively cheap to learn such programs? Thanks! Administrators Nathan Posted June 30, 2012 Administrators Posted June 30, 2012 Welcome to the board! Stick with it and you will learn. I started with SQL and have expanded from there. Quote
