Thomas
This may be comptlelty silly but it is something that I have never found out how to do. Is there a way to host 2 different websites on 2 different domaine names using the same cPanel Shared Hosting VPS (with WHMCS and cPanel and managed) VPS (unmanaged) If so can anyone point me towards a guide? Administrators Nathan Posted July 15, 2012 Administrators Share Posted July 15, 2012 Absolutely I run about 15 sites on my VPS. I'm sure there is a guide out there, but I never found one, just taught myself. I could create one for you if you still need the help. LiquiLayer - Brent
This may be comptlelty silly but it is something that I have never found out how to do. Absolutely. There are a few ways. Without cPanel, you could use something like Webmin. With cPanel, on a VPS you will have WHM as well. You can use WHM to create as many accounts as you need. Each will have their own domain name and DNS records on the server. • shared: you use addon domains (cPanel) • VPS - cPanel - use WHM (Web Host Managed) • VPS - non cPanel - you can use something along the lines of webmin We are also working on creating the exact guides you're looking for in our Knowledge base. They're just still in the works.
redinit
You don't need any control panel, it's as simple as having your domains DNS pointing to the right place, and configuring your web-server to "host" the multiple sites.
Marc
If you have WHM its just a case of point your domain to your server as you will have already done with your first one, then set up a new account for that domain in WHM. That will create everything you need.

Administrators Nathan Posted July 17, 2012 Administrators Share Posted July 17, 2012 Are you through GoDaddy? If so I can show how you need to add the host there and point to the nameservers.
Thomas
I'm currently with x10 and VopaHost as my only 2 hosts.
