Administrators Nathan Posted August 1, 2012 Administrators Share Posted August 1, 2012 Looks like Microsoft is finally phasing out Hotmail. You will still have your email but all moving to Outlook.com. I just took a look at mine, I like the new look a lot.

bryce12
Love the new features provided in Outlook.com I still have my old Hotmail account that I created almost a decade ago but I don't use it very often. Time to check it and see if I can make it my primary account.
kmpisces
At first I did not like Outlook. I guess I was just so use to my Hotmail. But it is working really well now. I find it much better than Hotmail now that I have figured out how to get my way around it.
Administrators Nathan Posted August 29, 2013 Author Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2013 Yeah I like it as well, but mostly just pull it into my Outlook client on my desktop.
jaymish
I have an Outlook e-mail because I need it, to operate my microsoft phone. It's alright I've never really used it. I can't say it's calling out to me and I can't really find a reason to switch from g-mail and use it.Going by the other microsoft products like One drive,I'll give it a miss. The only microsoft product that I like is their operating systems. I can talk because I also have their phone. It's not that great. I'll stick to Google products like g-mail, google drive and google docs.

NerdIndeed
I just used Outlook recently, and it's confusing. Maybe I just got very used to web-based mail clients. One more thing, I use a company email on Outlook and every new session, it warns me about a certificate something, what is it for?
Jelineex
Outlook is improving nowadays. It has more features compared to Hotmail. I use it as my private e-mail and it is reliable. I just like don't like too many upgrades. I understand that this is for security purposes but it bothers me especially with the inputs of mobile phones. I need to have permanent use of numbers. ( Ha.Ha.Ha) But, this is all for safety. It is better to have prevention than sorry in later times.
Kaushik
We use Outlook as our official email id in my organization. Outlook has a simplified interface helps keep track of important incoming mails and sort them according to the importance attached with them. Also, I can create custom folders and move emails from selected senders directly into that folder instead of them coming to my mailbox which is quite effective. amelia88
I’ve basically completely migrated my hotmail account over to gmail now. I didn’t mind the Outlook interface but I felt like the more I used gmail the more it seemed to fit my needs. Certainly above and beyond Outlook did, anyway! dullian
I don't like Outlook too much, too bad I have to use it to check some important emails. My main complaint is that it's somehow irresponsive somehow invasive. On my phone, it doesn't work as fluidly as Gmail. Also, I'm not a fan of the interface. and layout, it makes navigation a bit cumbersome.
Marvin Pol Dela Cruz
I highly recommend using Outlook. Very professional and easy to use. And also most of the companies, large or small are using outlook for their business. Various functions are awesome and helpful to achieve client's needs.
