KellyKellz Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Maybe I just can't think of anything at the moment or Photoshop has so many features but what would you like to see in the next release from Adobe. It seems like each CS release expands the software making it easier to create giving the user the space to run wild with innovation. What would you like to see in Photoshop CS7? Quote
The Reverend Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) A button that transfers the thoughts in your brains onto an image would be fantastic. I'll keep dreaming hahaha Edited January 9, 2013 by The Reverend Quote
dagscot Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I'm not sure. It doesn't seem long since Photoshop CS6 came out. A lot of the additions have felt a little gimmicky to me. I don't use the content aware move or fill very often. Since there's so many point and shoot digital cameras now, I think a really good de-blur or sharpen algorithm would be great to turn any old blurry shot into a sharp masterpiece. Quote

That would be awesome if a nice sharpening feature was released because my mom is always giving me old pictures of her parents to restore and I swear those are the hardest for me to do. Quote
OhioTom76 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I just wish they would improve working with vector shapes in Photoshop. They already have a flagship vector editing application, Illustrator, as well as a product that was a near perfect blend of raster and vector editing for web UI's all in one, Fireworks. They already have the expertise, but for some reason, they make editing vectors in Photoshop a miserable experience. I would also like to be able to snap to an invisible grid, like you can in Fireworks, and in Illustrator - but that takes some tweaking. Quote
westmixxin Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I would like to see a lot more filters, a lot more professional filters that can be manipulated with a lot of different settings attached to them, I think that would be really good for them to do something like that because it would make it a lot more inner active for people who aren't really good with the drawing tool. andy103 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I feel like I still haven't even used all of the features in photoshop to even think about what new ones I would want. Quote
OhioTom76 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 After playing around with Illustrator more, I've realized it has a much better set of tools for working with colors and color palettes. Photoshop only has limited integration with Kuler. With Illustrator, you can create and save color schemes then pull them directly into Illustrator itself - can't do that in Photoshop. I wish they would make Photoshop work the same way as Illustrator. Also, in general, I wish we could transfer colors and color schemes between apps - which for some reason we can't currently. I also wish Photoshop would come bundled with a better set of default styles, gradients, patterns and brushes. Shortly before they stopped developing Fireworks, they added a really great set of button styles and effects that unfortunately is not compatible with Photoshop. Quote
Lizel Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I never used photoshop, I think that it's too expensive. I like rather using GIMP or just typical paint to do my banners and graphics. They aren't professional, but oh well I save a lot of amount of money by not buying photoshop. Quote
queenbellevue Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 This isn't a feature or anything, but I'd like to see maybe a cooperation with Instagram? Like if they could incorporate some features into Instagram in some form then that'd be great Quote
Martinsx Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 From my experience with using Photoshop software, I think there shouldn't be much desire to improve on what we already have on the application because it may lead to something that wouldn't bode well for all of us using the program for one purpose or another. I think that anyone who knows how to use Photoshop well in carrying out his or picture works or other task would get an excellent job output, so it's best to stick with what we have as it is now in my opinion.
