DarkGizmo
Hey guys, I'm currently in the market for a 7" tablet. I'm torn between the more cost efficent android based Nexus 7 or the iPad Mini. I know they both have their pros and cons but i'm not sure what to go with. I like both iOS and Android. I like the customization Android offers but the simplicity of iOS......the Nexus 7 32GB is significantly cheaper then the iPad mini's 16GB model as well....what do you suggest? webdevuser
Nexus 7... all the way, IPad minis are just a iphone with a bigger screen. Nothing different than an iphone...
DarkGizmo
Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking too.....
Zerth
Yeah I'd say Nexus, there's nothing special about the new iPad mini, it's just another lame idea to make iPad's smaller. I'm not sure why they did that. So my vote would be for the Nexus.
dagscot
Nexus 7. I've often considered getting the full ipad, it's just a very attractive device but in the 7" market I believe the Nexus 7 is unbeatable for features and value. I've been hearing reports that the ipad mini doesn't have a great screen, with both the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire having superior screen resolution. They'll probably correct that with the ipad mini 2 but meanwhile, it's the Nexus 7 all the way.
