Where Do You Get Affordable SEO ready Articles

Recommended Posts

Most webmasters usually create their own SEO articles for their sites/ websites but as some of you may know, one is usually prone to serious writers block leving you clueless as to what article topic or video to make for your site. This usually prompts one to seek services of writers and although they are many "proffesional" writers out there, finding one who is really good at what he does can be quite expensive. So, onto my question, does anyone of you know where I can get good, high quality SEO ready articles for a fair price (say $5 - $10 for 500 words)?

I am able to write my own SEO articles.  This saves me money and allows me to make sure they are written as I want.  Truthfully, I am not sure where I would buy articles from if I needed to do so.  I would likely want to directly "interview" and hire writers on my own.

I'm getting them for $15/20 per article, but they are actual North American native writers.

If you want their info let me know.

That's $15/20 per 500 word articles hmm, not bad, I can work with that. Are they specialised in a writting articles for a certain niche or they can write about whatever niche you throw at them?

It's not like I can not write my own articles, I am actually really good and I used to write articles for cash some time back, but of late I have hit some serious writers block and almost all of the articles I had started writing a few weeks ago are either a paragraph or a paragraph and a half long :) Maybe if I pay for one or two articles, I might get some inspiration and start writing again.

Yeah like 500-700 words.  If I hadn't purchased articles before I would have went with one of the guys offering $2.50/400 words.  But I have had a ton of experience with article writers and like anything else you get what you pay for.  If you want true english native writers you have to pay the $.  They do research if they are not ready for the topic at that price as well.

There are a lot of articles writers on freelancer, that write 500 word articles for as low as $1, but you can imagine the quality. Also, $15-20 for a 500-700 word article is too much, even if the writer is native american. Just my thoughts.

I tend to do most of my own writing for the SEO articles. However, I also have written for other people and charge about 15 dollars for 500 words. At least that is what I have charged clients in the past, but I would need the keywords and other information that people want to have targeted and what they want for anchor text.

You can get articles written on iWriter for that amount of money. You just need to post the title and your requirements and you will get your article written in a matter of hours. As far the quality is concerned it will depend on the level of the writer and how much you are willing to pay. The higher level writers will cost more. You have the ability to accept or reject an article submitted.

I don't think the $15-20 is too much. That's only $.03 a word! Going rate is usually between $.03-.05 a word for moderate quality with the intention of being mostly for SEO (as in, not necessarily for real visitors, but focused more on the SEO side).

At this point I couldn't imagine paying for articles.

But if you're running a big operation and your time is better spend elsewhere I guess that makes sense...

Do you rely on writing for other people as a source of income?

I was trying to get into it so I could stay at home and study SEO hard, but the websites I've looked into don't really make me too comfortable about putting the time in...

I'm paying for articles but not that high. I get them for a low low price of 20 cents. Of course I don't attract native English writers but I'll live with those. The articles that they submit need some editing. I also have to include the feature image myself but that's a bargain considering I'm just paying 20 cents. Oh, and I have SEO be Yoast plugin installed just in case. :)

If you want to get in to the writing business, write articles for others I would recommend Freelancing websites such as Elance and Freelancer. On freelancing websites you have to place a bid for doing a job an alternative to freelancing websites that I found recently is iWriter and Hirewriters. There are articles waiting for you to be written they are not a lot just a handful. If you see a article that you might be interested in writing quickly accept it or some else will.

20 Cents where do you get articles written for such small price ? Can you get articles for that price for all niches ?

Nonsense. The first article I sold online went for $60. Prices have come down a bit since then, but I would still expect at least $15-$20 for 500-700 words (depending on subject)... but then I don't produce boring regurgitated crap. :)

You get what you pay for. Believe me, I've seen content produced by people at both ends of the spectrum (and most of the middle) and unless you're phenomenally lucky, you won't get anything good for low prices.

iWriter is not a site I would recommend for content: the prices are not indicative of quality, especially since users can now buy their way to a better rating. I once paid ~$20 a pop for two articles from there, and had to spend an hour editing them to make them publishable (by my standards). Again, it depends on who you get, I suppose.

Like any job, it's not something you can just pick up and expect to get paid well, If you're good at it, you can target well-paid gigs, but if you're average or not-so-good, you're going to be fighting for cheap-ass jobs where the competition is fierce. Despite what all those lovely ads selling work-from-home courses say, "anyone can write" is a fallacy.

Sites also (generally) pay less than direct clients, because they offer simplicity: you log in, you pick a job or write something, you post it, you get paid. No hassle, no stress, no customer relations, no big money! :D

I completely agree. I write for a living and it is something you not only need to feel passionate about, but also work at. It has taken me years to build up a client base and achieve my goals. Writing is hard work, but it is happy work if you love it.  I love that my time is my own, although I work very long hours most days.

They cannot be quality.

I know they will not be quality but 20 cents for a draft which I can edit in an hour or less. I think that has to count for some thing. Since these days I am not in the mood to write anything rather I would be really comfortable with editing some thing and post it on my blog.

Honestly? None, You're far better off finding a decent writer through direct contact and stalking them on forums.

If you want to go the site route, I'd suggest the bidding sites - at least you get a load of offers. Sort through them, choose potentially good candidates in your price range, pay out a dollar or two per writer for a short original sample as a test (NEVER ask for unpaid original samples - oldest scam in the book) and pick the one(s) you work best with.

Ah, the "other" approach. I do this sometimes, too, because I can write just fine, but I'm not very good at coming up with original ideas/titles. Pay out a small amount for junk content and convert it into proper articles by rewriting around the idea. Basically, paying for title ideas rather than actual content.
