Lizel Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I think that it would be a great idea to create a chatbox or shoutbox for this forum, so that all the active users could easily communicate with each other? What are your views on it?
Administrators Nathan Posted February 21, 2015 Administrators Posted February 21, 2015 I've always been against it. It doesn't allow any of the discussion or possibly good content to be saved for others to see. People post less, chat more, less content for others etc...

If it's a casual community where everyone knows each other, then a chatbox can be a nice way to communicated in a fun way. If it's a more serious, on-topic, Q&A sort of forum then a shoutbox can be somewhat of a distraction. Less posting, more chatting like Nathan mentioned.
