Blog Comments and SEO

Recommended Posts

It's now an important metric.  However, though, we don't want to think of it the wrong way.  What I mean is that it's seen as a source of activity, the links located on it don't mean that much.  Anyway, in the past, blog commenting was seen as powerful because of the links - but now that's seen as a spammy tactic.

I think because most people use blog comments as a way to get people to click. This applies to both blog owners and commentors. Blog owners use constant comments to get up the Seo ladder. It does not matter how useful, the comments actually are. Commentors use blog commenting as a way to get free traffic by directing blog members to their link. In a way you can't blame them, it's really difficult to get free traffic. I certainly do the same, if you want to be a successful online marketer you need to use every trick in the book to get traffic.

To be on the safe side, an SEO strategy might involve using blog comments with no link - or at least a no-follow one. How does SEO handle comments with no link?  Are they considered less?  What about no-follow ones?

I am agreed with the clarification, but someone doing blog commenting by considering the relevance, then definitely it works to get traffic. And definitely all SEO techniques are important if used in a right manner.

I think, blog commenting is a great help for the recognition of a site or forum. it will attract users interest to know and interact. This is somehow a promotion. It gives life to a site. It's also best to consider a good quality content. Being active on site management will likely to develop and track clients. It will generate traffic since the users is increasing due the valuable information.

Commenting on blogs is one way to establish your presence as an active reader and your comment does not necessarily need to include the link of your website. Just one comment that has the link of your site will do because that will serve as a backlink that can be recognized by the search engines. When the blog has a lot of readers then that backlink on one of your comments will increase the ranking of your site in the search list which will give traffic to your site. That is aside from the traffic that you get when a reader of the blog clicks on the link of your site.
