Kakashi2020 Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 (edited) What's great about windows 10 is it has Direct X12, it's a huge plus for the gamers out there. Also a cool feature is the solution screen, you can even split it into 4 by snapping it. Also it has ATP or Advance Threat Protection it's windows antimalware program. What do you like most in Windows 10? Edited April 16, 2018 by Kakashi2020 Quote
Codebuilder Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 (edited) When I migrated to Windows 10 I found it that it behaves more or less like Windows 7 with the interface being slightly different. But when I discovered the "Task View" feature of this latest Windows version, this is the feature that I find I liked the best. The "Task View" feature allows you to organize your windows in different Virtual Desktops. By assigning windows in different Virtual Desktops you can be more focused on tasks that you are doing. For example, you can put windows related to programming tasks in one Virtual Desktop while on you can put your Email and browser in another. Urgent Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 I still remember when they first started introducing the Windows 10 and I was very cautious and hesitant. It took a long time before Microsoft made it up to par with Windows 7. I only upgraded when they did that "free upgrade" a while back. I have to say that I love it now. It's better than Windows 7 because it simply runs much smoother on my PC. I haven't had any issues or problems that would be related to the Windows 10. My favorite thing would have to be just the start menu and how it's designed. You can customize it to your likings and preferences. So, depending on which programs or applications you use most frequently you can tailor it so it takes 1-2 clicks to open it up. It's quite smart! Quote
roseansipsip Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Hello, First I like in windows 10 is A significant chunk of Windows 10 users are on laptops and tablets, which means battery life has never been as big a concern for Microsoft as it is now. Fortunately, Windows 10 makes life easier for portable users with its battery saver features. Second the Windows 10 is designed to be a one-size-fits-all operating system for desktops, laptops, and tablets. This would normally spell disaster due to the massive differences in how each of those devices are used, but Microsoft managed to bridge the gap with its continue feature. And third of the most I like is the Virtual desktops have long been a key feature for productivity freaks and it’s unfortunate that Microsoft was so slow to join in on all the fun. The good news is that Windows 10 now officially supports virtual desktops with its Task View feature. Quote
Administrators Nathan Posted April 18, 2018 Administrators Posted April 18, 2018 I find it faster than Windows 7 in general, no real reason I like it, just works well. Quote
Ash Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 I think the fact that a lot of things have improved since Windows 7 is what I love about Windows 10. There's just so many things that have been improved, I'm sure compared to Windows 8 as well. My previous laptop had Windows 7 so I never really had any experience of Windows 8 although from what I hear, it wasn't the best. The fact that it had tiles was just awful so I'm glad that I didn't use it, to be honest. I could never have been happy using that interface so I'm glad that they went back to their traditional design for Windows 10. The fact that everything works so well and going through your computer is fast makes Windows 10 perfect. Quote
aecel Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I'm still using Windows 7 up to now even if I want to upgrade my Windows I don't think it would be compatible with my laptop due to low specs. I have tried Windows 10 on my friend's laptop and it seems good. I like the design and other features too though the price is quite expensive. If I'll buy a new laptop, I would probably try Windows 10. Quote
EfficientNinja Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I like the Start Menu the most. I missed that when I was still using Windows 8. There's also Cortana but I don't use it that much. I also like the Gaming Mode that they recently added to prioritize your game's processes. Nathan 1 Quote

So true, when I had Windows 8 I used this program to get it back. Bet the guy made a boatload of money during those days. EfficientNinja 1 Quote
caguioa747 Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 The virtual desktop support was the thing Windows 10 sold on me. I need it to make my work and school work more productive. Find it very useful since day 1. Quote
