Kakashi2020 Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Amazon Kindle is a good place to get published and to sell your e-books thereby making you some money. If you love to write and creating blogs and articles, why not create several ebooks, about 2000 words minimum would do and sell them in Amazon Kindle. In the event you want to sell ebooks but you don't have the skill to write one then just hire a ghostwriter to do your writing for you. There's a lot of ghostwriters around in micro job sites and writing sites. You can tasked them to make you several ebooks for $20-$30 per book. Quote
Ash Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 It's a good idea for some but I don't think you should bother with this if you don't enjoy writing or can't be bothered to write a book yourself. Paying a ghostwriter to do your work isn't going to go well because chances are the book just isn't going to be as good. And the problem is that I think most people just use Amazon Kindle for relaxing books and books with stories, those types of books will require a lot more than just 2000 words. Plus, it's not exactly the easiest thing to do if you want to sell books on the Amazon Kindle store because you need to spend a lot of time on marketing and advertising so that people actually know about your book. jaymish Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 @Byte member I disagree. Everyone is an expert at something, you just need to know what.We can't all be experts at writing, so you need to find someone who is. I agree that the idea has to be yours. If you give them an outline of your thoughts and let them figure out the rest, this may work. You can even put your thoughts down on a Dictaphone. Most celebrities who write about their lifes have ghost writers and their books go on to sell, millions. I think if you ideas to put out their this is fantastic concept. As the saying goes there is a book, in every one of us. Quote
aecel Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 It's my dream to create a book but I'm not a good writer I'm not confident enough to make one. I like the idea of hiring a ghostwriter but what if the ghostwriter claim the copyright of the books if they see you're making a huge profit from it they might claim their works. I've heard some news that there's a group of music rapper that they bought their music from a freelancer musician online but when he sees that the music is already viral on YouTube and making millions of views he keeps on asking more money. I think there should be always an agreement before publishing it to avoid any conflicts in the future. Quote
Kakashi2020 Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 I have to agree that when dealing with ghostwriters one should always have safeguards like a signed waiver of rights. This would give you full ownership and authority of the content / book. Quote

I agree with you that if you are going to use a ghostwriter, the ideas should be yours and that you should provide an outline and if possible an audio file containing your thought about the book. Go to Amazontask and search for Meshack Bwoyele Keya. Will you do it. Am sorry you will buy them and I will refund and pay you some money later Quote
MelanthaKrasos Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I've been thinking of selling my own e-book as well in Amazon when I came across your post. I would love to start eventhough it could be real tough. I've heard stories regarding books that doesn't sell and with bad ratings by the reader. I would have to create different poetry, have it compiled and published. I'll be writing it on my own since I'm not comfortable hiring a ghostwriter, lesser opportunity for skills enhancement in the writing department, but then that depends on how you run the ball. Quote
