This by far is one of the most twitch streamed games of all time. It is free to play also.

For anyone who has played it, how friendly is it towards new players?

It's okay and not really that toxic in the lower levels. As you play ranked games you will soon see the toxicity of the players, especially in ranked games. It is a fun and enjoyable game if you are only planning to play it casually.

I'm not sure how beginner-friendly the game is right now, I think the tutorials are enough to give you the basics but lack the depth to help you really improve on the game. Practice is still the best way to learn the game when it comes to MOBAs especially LoL with the consistently expanding champion pool, since you pretty much have to know all the abilities of the champions in order to have a decent gaming experience. Right now it's much easier to level up and gain new champions for beginners with the loot system (there are 10 free-to-play champions in rotation every week, and you need to be level 30 to play ranked games to get placed in the ladder for competitive people). It helps if you have a friend who knows how to play in the first place just to teach you the objectives of the game. Toxicity depends on the server, but you can mute all players if you get flamed a lot.

League of Legends is a great game, I play it from time to time when I finish my Steam list of games. Passing levels is not hard and is really fun to play it.

Old player here. I think the new players get a little more challenge than they had before. Now there are plenty of smurfs playing for fun at low levels. So if you fall to play against the dia smurf, then you are screwed up xD . When you get to level 30 and you start with ranking only then you will have problems with the players who flame, lose intentionally, feed, etc.

I want to try playing it. My friends tell me that I should try playing this instead of Mobile Legends. They say that it is a great game, loads better than Mobile Legends. One day,  I will play it and see for myself.

I really love League of Legends, I always play it everyday and buy new skins every sale. Some players are friendly if you are a good gamer and if you don't, all your teammates are cursing at you because you are ruining their game play and can lower their ranked (if their are playing ranked games).
