LuckyKing Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 What is programming and how does it work? How do you make a program and functions? And why is it so confusing? I don't know anything about programs and stuff but I still want to learn, but before I do that I first need to learn the basics. Is there a way to make it simple and easy? Quote
kx8 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Programming is like instructions you give to a computer on how to run a certain task. These instructions are written in codes that a computer can understand. It does get confusing but you'll need to start and understand the basics first. Just take your time and I'm sure you'll be able to do it soon! Quote
LuckyKing Posted December 3, 2018 Author Posted December 3, 2018 Thank you, I have been working on understanding it but it seems I'm still confused specially when with what codes are use for what. And all those extra plug-in installation and extension installation for this to be accessible and for that to work. Is there any way to make it all in one package and not have to be a separate one. Daniel204 Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 I would like to answer the question We professionals industry and academia define programming, as a general human activity, to mean the act of increasing or changing a system’s functionality. Programming is a popular activity that is done both by nonspecialists e.g., customers who change the settings of their alarm clock or cellular phone and specialists (computer programmers, luckily the audience for this thread). HTH!😊 Quote
Alania Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Programming is what made the world a better place, hehe! I know programming is confusing, and to be honest, you need to excel good at math to be a great programmer. It develops you brain that way so it may be able to "create" formulas. Which is what programming is all about, essentially. Quote
