Hello guys, I was wondering how many of you guys use shell scripts at work/college? Shell scripting is indeed very helpful in Unix and I make use of shell scripts to convert text to XML files which simplifies my work to a large extent. Shell scripts are also used in many other applications such as filtering out some info from a large text file.  I would want to know your comments on Shell scripts
