How often do you write programms?

Hi there!
Whether you're creating programms for yourself or for a client, how often do you this kind of job?

Not very often, to be honest, even though I still hold the memory of how to do it.

Mostly I do it for myself, for example recently I opened a website for my blog.

Since my High School days? Zero. None. I got discouraged from this skill by my very own teacher. 

I wasn't exactly the best in her class and I was known to have a lazy streak. But programming was something that was so interesting for me. I loved it and even lost sleep over it! I was turning in homework on time and I was the first to turn in a project. She said I couldn't possibly be the one who made it and demanded I tell her who did it for me, which one of the "boys" did it for me. So then I switched to my second love which is writing.

I do it as and when required in my work. I need to optimize queries depending on the need. Complex SQL queries are always tough to handle and optimize. There is always a risk when dealing with sensitive databases specially when the data is even more sensitive.
