matthewjohn938 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I have done On-page SEO for a website (with including Title, mega tags, meta description) and after that I am creating backlinks along with the focused keyword for a long time. For a time there was an increment in the ranking of some keywords, but since last four weeks the ranking has dropped. Could anyone suggest me how Can I identify the issues ? Quote
burgosmichael2407 Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 I don't have that much knowledge about backlinks and ranking but I believe other members here can help you. I just started my career in SEO last October, so I don't have that much knowledge yet. Quote
rlpzbeermoney Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 Keywords change rankings every day. It wouldn't be farfetched to have your tags now be popular and in the future it's going to be lower resulting in lower rankings. Just continue to use correct keywords and maybe throw in trending topics that are related to your work in and see if raises your rankings a bit. Quote

srilatha28 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 To identify issues when keywords drop in ranking, follow these steps: Track keyword rankings regularly using an SEO tool. Check for recent search engine algorithm updates that may have affected rankings. Analyze competitors' rankings for insights into areas needing improvement. Review and enhance the quality and relevance of affected page content. Optimize on-page elements like title tags and meta descriptions with relevant keywords. Address technical issues like page speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawl errors. Evaluate backlink profile to ensure no toxic links; focus on building quality backlinks. Improve user experience metrics like bounce rate and time on page. Avoid keyword cannibalization by targeting multiple pages for the same keyword. For local businesses, ensure consistent NAP information across directories and Google My Business. By taking these steps, you can rectify the issues and improve search engine visibility. Quote
