As a developer, I have used both technologies and want to make a few things clear. WordPress itself isn’t architected in MVC, but one can build very MVC oriented themes and plugins within the framework. In simple words, it is a CMS that’s developed with PHP, HTML, and CSS. On the other hand, PHP MVC is an application design pattern that separates the application data and business model from the view. Thus, hiding all the complex implementation details by providing you standard methods to build applications. In case you are looking forward to developing a website or web application, I highly recommend using PHP. It will promise security, flexibility, and scalability in the long run.

Last year, I engaged a team of PHP developers for developing a web application. They are doing a tremendous job with it. In case you need help, I recommend reaching out to them. Here’s the link, https://www.techosquare.com/web-application-development

Happy coding!
