All of us have had to deal with clogged drains at one time or another. It can be a real pain, and it seems like every time it happens, we have no idea how to fix it. Don't worry, you're not alone! In this post, plumber1lasvegas give you some tips on how to clean your drains quickly and easily. So read on for all the info you need!

1. Use boiling water

First things first: you need to clear out the drain. But, when it comes to drains, this can sometimes be easier said than done! After all, clogs are made up of a whole lot of gunk and grime that doesn't just unravel easily. If you pour normal cold water down there and expect it to work immediately, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

Instead of taking the easy way out, boil some water first! The boiling temperature of water means that you can soften up all of those clogs easily and wash them away quickly. For best results, try letting the steam do the work for you by tying a small towel around the drain, letting the boiling water seep through it. This can make all of the difference without any additional work!

2. Pour baking soda and vinegar down there

Another tried-and-true method for striking back against your clogged drain is to use baking soda and vinegar to fight it out with the gunk inside. While you're waiting for the solution to do its thing, go ahead and boil some water.

The baking soda will start off by neutralizing any acidic residue down there (which is what causes your drains to clog in the first place).
