dabisi
Hey all I'm working on building a job board that hosts all jobs within a specific geographical area and field of work. Essentially I want this to be the site that everyone in the industry goes to in order to find jobs in their field, eliminating the need to search multiple sites (like Kayak but for jobs). I am stumped when it comes to the web development portion of this. In order to find all jobs, I think a content aggregator of some sort would work best to automatically find and post the jobs on my site. But before spending any cash on this I want to know whether it would work or not, or if aggregator systems are more tailored to news articles. The second piece to this, is wondering if there is a way to develop an actual job board that would automatically populate jobs (whether it be by manually entering a link or some kind of aggregator system). The field I am posting jobs in is not huge, would be 5-15 new jobs a day, but the biggest thing I am trying to avoid is manually searching sites myself everyday and then posting them on my site. Hoping to find a way that would automatically source the jobs from the sites I look on, and then either post them automatically or at least provide me the URL automatically.
