Which do you prefer and why?

It seems like I see almost all HD stuff on Vimeo.

I prefer YouTube, just because it works well with the integration of all the other Google products I use and a single sign on.

For the record, I'm not familiar with Vimeo, so it's always been YouTube for me when it comes to having need to video tasks. The database of YouTube is very big that you are definitely going to get almost anything you are looking for on  the site. Monetization of YouTube video clips is also another thing that makes me fancy using it more often.

Youtube. My answer might be bias since I applied as YT partner and trying to grow my channel plus, let's be honest, Youtube is known by almost everyone than as Vimeo. In my family, most of the videos we watch are from YouTube and no one watch from Vimeo

Well for me if it's about content quality, specially in movies I'll pick vimeo but when it comes to marketing then YouTube is the second best for me, because it has 1 Billion Subscribers against Vimeo's 100 Million Subscribers. But my first choice is really Facebook which has over 2 Billion active Subscribers.

I prefer youtube because of integration with other sites , apps and of course the monetization side. Although they announced some changes lately, but i think it's all about balancing and opportunity for others. Also there are video editing apps that includes file formats that are specially made to fit youtube.

Definitely Youtube, since it's easily accessible for everyone so there are fewer barriers to entry and the quality is good but the loading times are much better than vimeo. Youtube is also more popular so more people are browsing it and more videos are also available for all your needs.

I prefer YouTube and I am using it to watch videos, listen to music and I have created my own channel there. I create videos mostly by playing video games but not only. I have started with YouTube in 2007 and I am a steady guy, I don't like changes :(

I have been using youtube ever since. It is more comfortable to watch in youtube and most of the videos you are looking for are present in youtube except of course to controversial and private videos. I have tried using vimeo before because of one tv show but I will still prefer youtube .

I have voted for YouTube because it is my favorite, there I have a channel where most of my videos are about playing CS:GO and Minecraft, besides is it easier to surf and find any video you want, the possibility to make money is high and popularity is high as well.

I would choose Youtube than Vimeo. You can almost find anything accurate in Youtube as I tried watching or searching in Vimeo before there are certain videos I haven't really found. Unlike Youtube, even if not all searches can accurately found but it's more likely we use to watch as its more popular and it has a lot of videos for entertainment.

This is a no-brainer. YouTube has billions of content ranging from how-to videos, entertainment, and even nonsense things. I also use it as a search engine. I'll only access Vimeo when that one thing that I'm really searching for is only/exclusively in there.

I prefer Youtube anyday. There are a lot of videos on Youtube and they cover a broad range of topics. Also, a single Google ID is enough to access all content on the site. Adult content is supervised and all the rules are well followed and maintained.

I use more of Youtube than vimeo. For my How to... videos, and other research material, I often run to Youtube. For updates on movies and website reviews, I run to Youtube. I think the only times I go to vimeo, is when I especially need to share a video with someone privately, or when someone shares one with me. There are few times when a video link I click on takes me to vimeo. These are the few times I actually visit vimeo.

Youtube. I have never used Vimeo and I think I will not. So there goes my vote. Youtube offers me a wide range of videos, from all categories. It basically has everything in it- music, movies, gaming and many other categories of videos. You just type whatever you want to in search engine and you will get many interesting videos. What I also like about youtube is a new feature called a dark theme. It looks even better than default one.

I never tried to use vimeo. Youtube is indeed the best apps, as part of me. In this site, there were so many movies that Youtube had, everyone can find a movies that suit to their taste. Some of the movies were a horror ones, a supernatural- fantasy and also the most well-known nowadays- the KDRAMA.

Frankly speaking, people can't always had their television wherever they go or whatever they do and it just added more hassles to their everyday life. Worries no more,  because with Youtube apps they can always track their favorite movies anytime, anywhere in just one click to their phones.

I have never used vimeo services. I have lived YouTube even since I started watching videos and listening to songs. It's interact is very easy to navigate and the search is powerful with millions of results getting compiled in less than a second. Also most of the videos are available in HD these days on YouTube.

I like Youtube better. I feel that it's easier to work on - the interface is user friendly, videos load faster, and everything is more convenient since it is linked to Google accounts. Moreover, Youtube has a vast audience and can guarantee a wider reach, compared to Vimeo.

There is no argument between the two because YouTube is the very best when it comes to video website. Most people who are into affiliate marketing makes use of YouTube for their affiliate program links promotion.

It's the best in my opinion.

I prefer to use Youtube for it's a user friendly platform. There are more active and interactive users which is more exciting. Information are widely spread due to large number of users. I find Youtube to be more informative and useful. I find it easy and fast to upload files or watching video clips. I don't use Vimeo since it takes a long period to load especially with movies.

I would have to say Youtube because it is now more bigger, it has a much larger community and therefore has a much larger reach if you are a content creator. Youtube has a much cleaner and user-friendly interface. Also, the limit the Vimeo puts on its basic (free) user serves as a big detriment.

From personal experience I prefer YouTube way more over Vimeo. YouTube is more popular  there are many more content creators on the platform. reason number 2 why YouTube is better, is because you can get paid. If you didn't know you can get paid with you tube by using google ad sense.

Youtube since it's the most popular video streaming platform. Have barely heard of Vimeo, I think some videos I've watched were hosted on Vimeo, but I didn't realize it was a video website like Youtube. I thought DailyMotion was the second most popular site in this category next to Youtube.
