I found site via link i noticed this site provided a screenshoot your site, so went over see what it about myself when looking over it noticed few items that was like unsure of so clearly not many heard of it or used it.

Not to mention the layout looks like a 10 year old put it together in Paint......horrid, horrid design. I agree with everyone else. I was completely lost. What the hell is the point of that site? Maybe if it was laid out better and they actually put up some stuff to depict what the purpose of the site actually was......people would be better off using them?

This is actually an excellent example of how not to design a site - the person who built it obviously threw together loads of stuff they thought looked cool without considering what the visitor is looking for. It's classic ego-building (if you'll excuse the pun): they've built it to appeal to THEM rather than their audience.

Another classic in the genre is this one: http://typesofcompan...ndinganiche.co/ - a complete mess where the owner's obviously trying to maximise ad revenue and cram content into as little space as possible, while completely ignoring the reason his visitors go there: for information. Finding the content is so incredibly hard that I would imagine his bounce rate is almost 100%.

Rule number 1 when building a site or doing anything online: know your audience and what they're looking for.

Edit: I just found a "Demo" page on Thumbshots. Guess what it does? Takes you to a search page... with no instructions, information or anything else. So I typed in a few words. No results. For anything (including "Google").

Awesomely bad marketing: I've spent about 15 minutes on the site and STILL have absolutely no clue what they do. I don't think I could be that obtuse if I tried. Well, maybe if I really tried...

I guess they have overhauled their design because now it looks much cleaner and easier to navigate. I am surprised to learn that people are still paying for thumbnail generating services, I thought people stopped using them.
