The best way to make a small fortune selling web hosting is to start with a large one. If you have the capital and are ready to lose money in the first three years, then go ahead. Web hosting is a super tough niche. It’s tougher if you’re planning to compete with the big dogs. Just aim to be the big fish in a small pond. You can start by focusing on your own city. When people google “best web hosting [city name]”, your company should show up as number one.

That’s an interesting list. I have always found Laravel to be one of the simplest (not easiest) of the bunch. Being able to run tasks asynchronously in the background with ease is awesome. However, what really stands out for me is the community. Developers will stumble on problems whenever they’re learning a new framework, but an active community makes it easier to get help promptly.

I didn’t get to do much traveling this year. Too busy, not enough money, and all other reasons. I do have a plan to travel at least once a month next year. My schedule will (hopefully) more lax and I have enough money saved to justify the spending. Japan is high on the list of places I want to visit. One Piece Tower is a must-see for me. However, for that to happen, I need to save significant bucks. Can’t have myself splurging on silly stuff anymore.
