I use PSDtuts+ but I'm aware there are a huge amount of tutorial sites out there. What are the best ones and are they categorized for Web design. Retouching etc. I hate searching too much.

In general Tutsplus tutorials are all pretty awesome. They have many websites dedicated to different niches, such as NetTuts (Web Development tutorials), PSDTuts, VectorTuts etc. I usually visit NetTuts but PSDTuts it's my number one resource for Photoshop tutorials for sure.

When I learnt Photoshop, I didn't really learn how to use it first, I just went on deviantart and just found a couple of signature tutorials and learned from them. After finishing all those tutorials I found using Photoshop much more easier as the more tutorials I did, the more I know about it.

I've found that the best way to learn is simply to experiment. Every tutorial I have seen has said this. Though, whenever I am trying to do something specific, I do a search for it. Deviantart and Reddit have been very useful for this.
